Review: Scented Top Coats (Oh, Well, I Surrender!)

 Hi dears!

So, a few months ago (june 20, to be more specific), I had to go to the drugstore because my mom had to buy some hair ink, and let me go with her, because my propolis bottle was almost empty.
There, I've caught the propolis bottle and decided to look the makeup/nail polish section and was when I've saw for the first time the Colorama's Scented Top Coat, and well, I just HAD to buy it!
I know, I know, I've told to you all that I hated Colorama's polishes (Colorama, the brazilian brand, not the Maybelline New York polish line), BUT, I must admit one thing about Colorama: Their lines of Nail Care/Top Coat are wonderful, way better then the colorful polishes lines, they dry extremely fast and don't get too thick, what I hate. Actually, their NC lines are the best that I've ever found, at least in my city.
The TC protect wonderfully the nails, and their growing base, the one that I buy every time, is the best I've ever used, it makes my nails grow in a week what they would grow in a two alone.

They have two scented top coats, a green one, the "Chá de Menta" ("Mint Tea", translated), that I've bought today, and the pink one, that is the one that I've bought first, is the "Incenso Doce" ("Sweet Incence", translated), both from the new collection "Mistérios da Turquia" ("Turkey Mystery", Translated).
I've chosen the Incenso first because I love sweet scents and loved the translucent pink color. And than, almost three months later, the TC started to get thick, what means that I needed to get another bottle.
But I've decided a few weeks ago that I was going to give a chance to the Mint one, even though I've loved the pink's scent. And that's what I've done today: I've went to my favorite perfumery and took the green.

About the Pink one:

The scent was supposed to be like an incence, I guess *ORLY*, but it's more like an strawberry soda when you apply, and the pink doesn't interferes in the mani. It is really glossy and protect the mani a lot. It's my favorite Top Coat ever, I will definitely buy it again. Again, and again and again!

About the Green one:

The scent is clearly of mint, what I like, but it's not so strong as the Pink one, and doesn't seems so glossy as th Pink one. After it's over, I won't buy it again, unless the pink is missing.

Oh, and sorry for being so sloppy with the blog, I just don't have the time that I need to do tutorials and good topics, or creativity enough to do the tutorials as I've had before (but don't worry about it - the creativity is coming back ahaha), but I SWEAR that I will try really hard to do cool things on my nails to show to you!
And another thing: I'm with a new blog, all about beauty, make-up, some fashion,  and a bit of nail stuff.

NOTW Special: Brazilian Valentine's Day

 Hi dears!

I know, I know, paint my nails almost everyday isn't thaaaaaaat healthy, and I also know that my last mani was beautiful, BUT, I forgot one little HUGE thing:
This Wednesday, 12 June, is the Valentine's Day in my country!

The Valentine's Day is celebrated on Brazil in the day 12, because it is the eve of Saint Anthony's Day, the marriage saint.

So, in celebration of the Valentine's Day (wich I'll pass alone *sigh*), I've made this little mani:

I've used the polish "Apple" (HK Collection, Hits Speciallità), white lace nail stickers (Dedo de Moça), white heart nail stickers from an Asian factor of nail products that I don't know the name (the name was in an asian language) and red heart beads.

So, this is my VD mani!
I hope you guys have enjoyed the mani,!

Tutorial: How Can I Apply A Nail Sticker?

 Hi dears!

So, every body thinks that apply an Nail sticker is hard ans complicated, but honestly? It is much more simple than people think.
The mani that I'll do is this:

  For this mani you'll need:

 - Nail Stickers (Lace stickers, in my case)
 - Nail Polish (Mine was "Apple", from HK Collection, by Hits Speciallità)
 - Top Coat (I'm using my base as my top coat)
 - Scissors
 - Cotton
 - Toothpics
 - Nail Polish Remover

And that's how you'll do it:

01 - Pass a base in all the nails (already sanded and without cuticle, if you remove it).

02 - Pass the polish.

03 - Take off the sticker from the plastic

04 - Cut a retangle in the sticker.

05 - Place the sticker on your nail and measure the size of it

 06 - Cut the excess.

 - Pass the Top Coat, wait until it dryand clean the corners.

 And, well, that's it!
 Simple, easy and pretty!

Oh, if you want to use an colorful sticker, I recommend use an nude or white polish , like a base to the sticker, like this:
Look how hard is to look at the purple dots in the thumb nail tip, that is with an pink polish under the sticker, and how easy it is to look the fish and it's backgroud on the ring finger nail tip, that is with an nude polish under the sticker!
And, NEVER forget the top coat, is the top coat who paste the sticker in the nail and keeps it there.
You can do as I rather do too, measure the size of the sticker on the nail while it's only with the base, pass the 2 coats of polish that I always pass and then paste the sticker. The polish only takes a few more seconda to dry than the normal, but it dry completely. Then, you'll apply the top coat.

 I guess it's all *LOL*
And I also hope that you've enjoyed this post, that my post has been helpful to you!

NOTW: Nail Stickers

 Hi dears!

So, this week I've decided that I nedded to use my nail stickers - without pity (yes, I feel pity of using nail stickers/beads/favorite and new polishes).

So, I've decided to use my Romero Brito's print sticker, from Dedo De Moça, a brazilian store.

I've used one coat of base, one coat of Patins (Impala), two coats of Candy (Hits Speciallità), one RB sticker (Dedo De Moça) and one coat of base used as a top coat

These are the RB's stickers (without the used ones):

 And this is the mani:

On the ring finger, under the sticker, as a base, I've used Patins, from Impala:
On the other fingers, i've used Candy, from HK Collection, Hits Speciallità:

That's how the sticker looks on the nails:

On the thumb, I've used an piece of the sticker that wouldn't fit on the nail, so I had to cut out, and I didn't wanted to waste any part of my beautiful sticker, so I've used on the thumb *LOL*

And this is the NOTW of this week!
I hope you've enjoyed this post, and I'll try to post a Tutorial of how to apply this kind of nail sticker on this week.

 Have a nice week, dears!

 Kisses,
 Thay

NOTW: Black & Red Glitter feat. Holo

Hi, dears!

So, today's mani is a kinda simple mani, black polish with REALLY tiny red glitters aaaand a beautiful holo glitter.
 So these are the polishes:

Vva Negra - Color Effect Collection, Risqué

This is a beutiful black  polish with red glitters. I love this combination, red and black.
"Viúva Negra" is a black creme base with some red and really really tiny red glitters from the Collection "Color Effect" from the Brazilian brand Risqué:

Metal Glam - Army, Impala
This is a black pearl polish. Not one of my favorites, but I thought it would be gorgeous with the "Na Mira 3D", so I've bought it. And I was right. *LOL*

Na Mira 3D - Army, Impala
And THIS is one of my favorites! I jus love the rainbow effect of the Holo polishes, and this is the first brazilian holo/3D, and it is a little old, because I've bought this little baby when it was released - and it hasn't dried yet!

The Base/ Top Coat
This Colorama's base makes the nail grow faster, and it is the ONLY polish that I recommend from, this brand.

Ok, I know that it isn't exactly a "Top Coat", BUT I love use this Impala base as an top coat, the nail shine like a diamond! *LOL*

The Result

Well, this is the result (and i know, my nails are REALLY short, but I've sanded them a few weeks ago, because they were hurting me - A long story)

Gradient Nails

Hi, dears!
So, as my first tutorial, i've decided to make gradient nails, one of my favorite kind of nail art.

For this mani, you'll need:
- An sponge (01)
- Scissors (02)
- Cotton (03)
- Nail Polish Remover (04)
- Toothpicks (05)
- Adhesive Tape (06)
- Nail Polish Base
- A nude or white polish
- 3 different shades/colors of polish
- Top Coat
You can use an glitter polish too, as i've done, but it need to be a REALLY THIN glitter, to don't hide the gradient.

These are the polishes that I've used:
- Base 2 em 1 - Risqué (the Base - 01)
- Patins - Impala (the nude - 02)
- Candy - Hits Speciallità (the pink - 03)
- Sweet - Hits Speciallità (the salmon - 04)
- Apple - Hits Speciallità (the red - 05)
- Fizzy - Hits Speciallità (the Glitter - 06)

The red, the pink, the salmon and the glitter polishes are from the Hello Kitty Collection, from Hits Speciallità, an brazilian brand.
The nude polish is from the Disco Collection, from the brazilian brand Impala, and the Base - that I've used as a top coat too - is an base from the treatment line with Orchid Oil from an another brazilian brand named Risqué.

Well, these are the steps:

01 - Pass a base in all the nails (already sanded and without cuticle, if you remove it)

02 - Pass the Nude/White Polish (It will help to don't stain the gradient).

03 - Cut a little piece of the sponge, enough to cover all your nails.

04 - Pass the first color in the top of the sponge, the second right under the first and the third right under the second.

05 - Coat the skin around the nail with adhesive tape, will avoid much of the dirt, and "stamp" the polishes on the nail, pressing the sponge on the nail. Repeat the step 04-05 in every nail.

06 - Add Glitter and/or the top coat.

Easy and beautiful!
But it makes a lot of dirt, so never forget the adhesive tape. And it's not a quick process, so, do this mani in a day without compromises.

Well, this was our first tutorial, I hope you all like it ^^

Kisses,
Thay
